Perfect Balance

One of our grandsons excitedly told us he hopes Grandma learns how to carry a bowl of fruit on her head while we live in Africa. At the time, that seemed like a daunting task. Now, after driving nearly a month on the roads of Accra, we realize a bowl of fruit is a piece of cake!

We soon realized that some people use a simple 
piece of fabric rolled up to stabilize the cargo.

Africa's young mothers are pretty amazing as they carry their beautiful babies on their backs and balance heavy wares on top.
