Our last destination on the Volta Region trip was Wli Falls, the highest waterfall in West Africa. It is nestled among rolling hills and lush green valleys in one of the most scenic parts of Ghana.

| Several of these pineapples were growing along the side of the trail. | I thought of the grandkids as soon as we came upon this centipede. |
| Wli Falls comes from the Agumatsa River. It thunders over a steep 60-meter cliff into a large pool below. The cool mist was welcome on that very warm day. |
It was fun getting acquainted that weekend with a part of Ghana we weren't familiar with. We drove a lot, learned a lot, and especially enjoyed spending time away from the area office for a couple of days. We hope there will be other opportunities to explore this interesting part of the world.
